Yu Yu Hakusho SC Fanfic Character Design Concept: Kimika Rotaru

For years, I have taken a break from writing for personal reasons. But lately after the death of my beloved cat, Kibou, who lived an amazing 16 years, I have spent these days refocusing on my projects and rewriting and releasing my back log and fanfics while preparing my new releases. It’s a great distraction and helps me deal with hole now left in my life.

I’m going to do original art for each of my works. For now, I use OpenArt AI tool to bring life to my characters. I know people have negative stigma about AI and how it’s used, and I used to be like that too. But being able to see my characters come alive and using AI like Copilot to organize my notes and build comprehensive schedules for each project release has been a godsend.

Being able to bring each character to life through OpenArt, has given me more motivation to write than when I online had my black and white written character descriptions (Yes… I still hand write everything before typing it… Don’t blame me. Blame six years in a catholic elementary school. 😑 Oh and I still write in cursive too. lol). Also, being able to reorganize my notes and make a comprehensive, interactive schedule, has helped me refocus on my passions. I hope you can appreciate my new designs and upgrades.

Now, here is the original concept art for one of the main characters for my online fanfics, Yu Yu Hakusho S.C.: Kimika Rotaru. I will be updating the current chapters for this series, reformatting it to LN (Lily’s Prism and After the DTS saga every where else), adding original art and adding new chapters from now until the beginning of Q2 2027.
